brood TERMS & Conditions

Confirmation of place

Your place is confirmed once you’ve purchased the ticket via our website booking system, or booking partners such as Happity.

Accompanying adults

Only one parent/guardian can attend the class as we have to adhere to insurance policies about maximum people in the space.

Siblings

We offer a 30% discount for the second sibling attending. We understand the challenges of attending classes with more than one child. Siblings under 6 months come for free. Siblings outside of the age ranges are not able to attend, unless specifically invited.

Term bookings cancellation policy

Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds or transfers to no-shows. Classes cancelled 48 hours before the class time will be refunded or transferred to another class, where possible. In some cases, cancellations within 48 hours can be transferred to another class. NB booking partners like Happity may have their own cancellation policies.

BROOD cancellations

In the rare case that we have to cancel a class you will be offered an alternative class, a voucher to another class, or a refund where possible.

Covid 19 Money Back Guarantee

We are unable to offer a refund if you’re unable to attend due to personal circumstances relating to Covid 19, such as self-isolating.
However, if the course is paused or cancelled due to government enforced lockdowns then you will be offered the choice to either continue the course online (if applicable), transfer to the next course, or a refund (minus 5% booking/processing fee).

Protection of property

Please note that your property left in prams or bags is your responsibility and BROOD cannot take any responsibility for the safeguarding of these items.

Allergies and medical conditions

You must inform us of allergies and relevant medical conditions before booking a class. BROOD family studio is on a property where we may not be able to guarantee total absence of allergens.

Equipment and teaching space

We conduct regular Risk Assessments of the venue and our equipment to ensure they are clean and safe. We ask you to please remove your shoes when inside the studio, but shoes need to be worn to visit the bathroom and care exercised to avoid slips.

Responsibility for child’s safety

The accompanying adult is ultimately responsible for their baby or child’s safety (other than in Toddler Drop Offs) and you are asked to please respect our garden and property.

Illness

Parents are asked to keep their babies and children at home if they have a serious infection, cough or fever, upset stomach or diarrhoea in past 48 hours, symptoms of possible communicable diseases, such as chicken pox, impetigo, hand foot and mouth, Covid 19 etc. We cannot offer a refund for a lesson missed due to illness. In some cases a friend can take your slot, depending on the type of class - please get in touch.

Late arrivals

Please let BROOD know by phone if you expect to be late, as the venue gate will be securely locked just before the start of each session.

Accidents and incidents (Toddler Drop Offs)

At least one member of staff present is paediatric first aid trained. If any accidents occur during your child’s time at our Drop Offs we will deal with it appropriately and register it on an accident form. We will then inform you and ask you to confirm receipt of this. Whilst we remind children to always play with care (and the premises is regularly risk assessed), we might not be able to prevent all accidents and staff or BROOD will not be held responsible or be liable for compensation of such accidents or incidents.

CCTV camera

BROOD family studio is in the garden of a private property. There is CCTV in use in the house, due to the volumes of the public coming on and off the property. This overrides regularly and is not stored or used for any purpose other than security.
